Juno

Juno is another success story. Born with Canine Megaesophagus (ME), she came into rescue at nine months very emaciated and unable to keep her food down.

We took her to the “rescue vet” who diagnosed her, informed us it would be better to put her down because it was a chronic condition and there was no cure. We decided against putting her down. Instead, we were determined to give her a quality life as long as she lived. The vet said she wouldn’t see her first birthday because she also has aspirated pneumonia. She became our forever foster. I did a lot of research about ME and learned how to deal with it. Today, she is eight years old and loves being with her other Weim brother and sister and her three cats. We are blessed to have her.
