Dogs have always been a passion, especially after we acquired a timid 6-month old Weimaraner.
We were looking for information about the breed and went to a meet & greet for Wonder Weims Rescue in Springfield. Shortly thereafter we found ourselves going regularly to meetings and events. We are permanent fosters to Reno, who is an older Weim that was surrendered to the Rescue, and he’s just a regular part of our family. We like to help with transporting dogs that are moving to and from within the Rescue – and seeing a dog placed in a forever, happy home is the best feeling one can have. That’s the best part of helping a Rescue.
