The Humane Society of Southwest Missouri and E.W. Scripps are coming together for the 1st Annual Woofstock, Springfield’s grooviest pet adoption event, scheduled for Saturday, May 7th from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in downtown Springfield. This event is FREE!
Kick off the morning with The Humane Society of SWMO at the 1st Annual Mutt March. Leash your pet and strut your stuff downtown Springfield, MO 9am-11am.
Woofstock gates open at 10am and activities include:
•Adoptable pets from animal rescue organizations and shelters.
•Pet contests (Best Dressed, Best Trick, Cutest Puppy).
•Pet related vendors and family friendly businesses.
•Food Trucks.
•Puppy run/play area.
•Live music from LUX and Makenna & Brock.
•Silent Auction
Attendees are invited to bring their own leashed pets to enjoy a day filled with fun activities, music, and food—all in a pet friendly atmosphere.
